A 2000s Guy With A Touch of the 90s

8th September, 2017 - The day that changed my life, once again.

The jet black boots, the baggy denim jeans, the red turtle neck tee, the long flowy hair and danced frivolously every so often, that charming smile, the clean shaven stubble, the orbs filled with an ocean of emotions. That's what defined Randeep Rai as Sameer Maheshwari - the perfect heartthrob of the 90s.

My eyebrows arched in surprise the first time I saw him; while binge watching Yeh Un Dino Ki Baat Hai on YouTube. Sameer Maheshwari - the cocky, spoilt boy with mischief in his eyes and aspirations touching the sky. Upon watching the first episode, my fingers had instantly searched up his real name and my lips had curved into a smile at finding a new person to fangirl over!

However, little had I imagined to follow him and the show so ardently. Little had I realized I had started watching every offscreen interview of his and my heart would squeal in delight each time he posted a picture. The way his onscreen habits reflected offscreen and vice versa; the flexing of hands, the pursing of lips, the boisterous grins...hayeee!

He has redefined emotions, he had redefined love. His eyes speak volumes and words lose purpose. The way he effortlessly expresses anger, compassion, repentance and love, all just through his eyes is simply amazing.

Thank you for making us fall in love with the 90s. Thank you for redefining love for the entire fandom!
